Key Responsibilities of a Scheduling Specialist
In this role, you’ll work closely with both the Operations and Workforce Management Teams to ensure scheduling aligns perfectly with forecasted work volumes. Reporting to the Manager of Resource Planning, you’ll also drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Schedule Management:
- Generate accurate schedules to meet business needs.
- Ensure all employee schedules are tracked and updated regularly.
- Data Analysis:
- Identify trends in customer contact volumes and optimize resource allocation.
- Review and update trackers related to headcount, absenteeism, and other key metrics.
- Workforce Management:
- Manage and maintain employee schedule information across multiple locations using workforce software.
- Update parameters within the Workforce Management System to enhance efficiency and meet productivity goals.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with Operations Teams to align employee availabilities with business requirements.
- Ensure workforce tools and trackers reflect real-time accuracy for optimal planning.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Drive initiatives to refine processes and ensure scheduling excellence.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed as a Scheduling Specialist at IntouchCX, you should bring a mix of analytical, technical, and organizational skills. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Educational Background:
A post-secondary degree or certificate in Business Administration or related fields (equivalent work experience will also be considered). - Technical Expertise:
- Experience with workforce management systems (preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (preferred).
- Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with contact center operations, including functions and business processes. - Core Competencies:
